蔓草

              感动
           
       “Hope is a good thing…maybe the best thing…And no good thing ever dies.”

            这个影片看了有5遍了，还是爱不释手，台词很经典，这回索性抄了下来……当然，影片本身的主旨是那句"Anyone can cook. （任何人都能做厨师）”，而令我感动的还有很多……

           小老鼠Remy看到电视机上的大厨Gusteau说：
……Great cooking is not for the faint of heart. You must be imaginative, strong hearted. You must try things that may not work. And you must not let anyone define you limits beacause of where you come from. Your only limit is your soul. What I said is ture. Anyone can cook. But only the fearless can be great.
……了不起的烹饪不适合胆小的人。你必须是富于想象力，勇敢坚定的。你要去尝试那些可能无法成功的事情。而且不能让任何人因为你的出身而局限约束你。你仅有的约束是自己的心。我说的那些是真的。每个人都能烹饪。但只有无畏的人才能成功。

          书上的Gusteau的插图对Remy说：
……But that is no match for wishful thinking. If you focus on what you've left behind, you'll never be able to see what lies ahead.
……但没有什么能与雄心抗衡。如果你只在意已丢失的，你将永远无法看向未来。

         Remy的父亲对他说：
……The world we live in belings to the enemy. We must live carefully.……When all is said and done, we're all we've got.
……我们生存的世界是属于敌人的。我们必须小心谨慎……毕竟，我们只是我们。
         Remy难受地说：
……You're  telling me that the future is……Can only be more of this?
……你在告诉我未来将会……只有更多的这种事（人类残杀老鼠）发生？
        他爸的宿命论：
……This is the way things are. You can't change nature.
……世界的规律就是这样。你不可能改变自然。
        Remy反驳他爸道：
……Change is nature. The part that we can influence. And it starts when we decide.
……改变即自然。这是我们所能做的。而且当我们决心要改变时，它便开始了。
        （Remy转身离开父亲，他爸问他干什么去）
         Remy回答：
……With luck, forward.
……带着希望，勇往直前。

          评论家Ego被Remy的烹饪感动后写道：
……In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little,yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their serves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. 
        But there are times when a critic truly risks something and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. 
        The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. 
        Last night I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. 
        To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. 
        In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for chef Gusteau's famous motto,"Anyone can cook." But I realize only now do I truly understand what he meant. 
        Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. 
        It is difficult to imagine more humble origins that those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France. 
        I will be returning to Gusteau's soon, hungry for more.
……许多方面来说，评论家的工作是轻松的。我们承担的风险很小，却享受着比那些献上他们的作品和服务，等待我们裁定的人们更高的身份地位。我们以那些写起来和读起来都很有趣的负面批评见称。但我们评论家必须面对的痛苦事实是，一块普通的垃圾食物也许比我们对它的批评更有意义。
       而很多时候，一个评论家要冒真正的风险去发现和保护新事物。
       这个世界对新人才，新创造总不厚道。但新事物需要朋友。
       昨晚我体验了一些新东西，有着一个不可思议的来源的特别菜肴。
       这顿饭及其创造者挑战了我对烹饪先入为主的观念，这个说法太粗劣。他们完全撼动了我的内心灵魂。
       在过去，我没有掩饰对大厨Gusteau的那句箴言，“任何人都能成为厨师。”的轻蔑。但只有此刻我才真正理解他的意思。
       不是每个人都能成为艺术家，但艺术家可以来自任何地方。
       难以想象有比现在在Gusteau餐馆烹饪的天才更低微的出身，在我看来，他无愧于法兰西最出色的主厨。
       我将很快再回到Gusteau的餐馆去，渴望更多的美食。
